The Ivermectin Verdict: Does It Speed Up COVID-19 Recovery?
I summarized a very recent study about Ivermectin and it's use in Covid-19 recovery.
I woke up at 4am to this breaking news! Today, I'd like to discuss a recent study that many of you might have heard about, concerning the drug Ivermectin and its potential effects on COVID-19 recovery.
What was the study about? The research aimed to determine if taking a higher dose of Ivermectin for six days would help patients with mild to moderate COVID-19 symptoms recover faster compared to those who took a placebo (a substance with no therapeutic effect).
What did the study find? The results showed that the median time to recovery was the same for both the Ivermectin group and the placebo group, which was 11 days. This means that Ivermectin, even at a higher dose, did not significantly speed up recovery from COVID-19 compared to a placebo.
Who participated in the study? The study involved 1,206 participants who received the study drug. The participants had a median age of 48 years, and a significant portion (83.6%) had received at least two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine.
What does this mean for you? While Ivermectin has been discussed as a potential treatment for COVID-19, this study suggests that it might not offer significant benefits in speeding up recovery for mild to moderate cases. It's essential to consult with healthcare professionals before considering any treatment.
In conclusion, Always stay informed and consult with your healthcare provider about the best treatment options for you. Remember, the best defense against COVID-19 remains vaccination, practicing good hygiene, and following public health guidelines.
Stay safe and healthy!

I think staying healthy, stabilizing your risk factors/comorbidities is one of the best defense against covid19 infection. :) if you have your covid19 jabs but your risk factors/comorbidities is not stable , you still have a high risk of complications
